you won’t remember Mercury Retrograde
I promised good news in my last post and here it is: we have a few days of energy in August with Uranus trine Mars before another challenge this month (but more on that later).
Between 14–17 of August, Uranus in Taurus at 23 degrees, forms a harmonious aspect with Mars in Virgo at 22–23 degrees. That’s a Uranus trine Mars. Translation: Uranus brings the unexpected, the sudden news and an outpouring of energy when it transits a certain point or when it makes an aspect. Uranus in Taurus, an earth sign, associated with stability, material possessions and all earthly endeavors forms a trine with Mars, another symbol for drive, action and powering through particularly the daily routine, work and our wellbeing (Virgo). Summing this up, when you add the expansive (and chaotic) energy of Uranus to a Mars (action fire!), you have significant stamina and drive to hammer through anything in your path!
There’s a beautiful triangle that happens on Aug 14, between Chiron at 19 degrees in Aries, Vesta at 20 degrees in Gemini and Volcano at 20 degrees in Leo (if you like astrological charts, see the first chart in this article). My intuition is that some hard work you put in related to the young or those under your rule/leadership (Volcano in Leo) has a positive effect on your image and reputation (Chiron in Aries) and also on your commitment to serving something business-related (Vesta in Gemini). Start this day with the intention to act with an outcome for the highest good of all involved, and you’ll be rewarded (Pluto still triggers the Nodes on Aug 14, and this is like.. karma is watching you! Act with noble intentions, to plant seeds for a positive transformation).
As Mars is in your work sector (Virgo, 6th house), your drive will be spectacular for about 4 days, and you will finally untie some knots or overcome bottlenecks that you have encountered in your work so far. But careful with that hammering through, the same Uranus is forming a challenging aspect to Volcano ( the symbol of the hard worker, the Roman God who turned iron ore into valuable tools). The challenging aspect is a warning to be gentle, mindful when you act (with your words or with your actions), because with a chaotic vibe from Uranus, you can cause destruction through your work. Volcano is in Leo at 22 degrees, the sign of the ‘subjects’ or the young in your life (children), so be careful how you speak and act to people who are under your leadership, in your family, team or classroom. Uranus is even associated with actual explosive situations so, extra caution on Aug 15.
Finally, on Aug 16, the same Volcano in Leo forms harmonious aspects to the Lunar Nodes, while Venus in Leo (still retrograde) forms a positive aspect with Ceres in Libra. This is a day when some feminine archetypes are in harmony: the seductress in the bedroom sign (Venus in Leo) with the mother-goddess in the marriage/partnership sign (Ceres in Libra). This is a day when efforts (Volcano) to enable an agreement in a close partnership (especially a couple or a marriage, but also a close business partnership), can be successful. In case you’re not familiar with Ceres and her symbolism, she was the goddess who got Pluto, the god of the underworld, second strongest god after Jupiter, to compromise about Proserpina — a very powerful undertaking, that no other dared to embark on, much less succeed. She is the symbol of the female power that gets her share from the undisputed male leader. Use this day wisely — again, with Pluto squaring the Nodes, you’d better act with clean intents so you don’t pay in terms of relationships (the South Node is also in relationship sign, Libra, where it brings karma around relationships for you to balance from 18 to 19 years ago). So, if you’re in a position of power, use it to uplift, heal and communicate clearly, not to manipulate or seek only your own advantage.
I mentioned above that challenges are coming again, we have a double opposition on Aug 19 (of which, one involves Saturn — and Saturn is never an easy one), another one on Aug 21, culminating with a Saturn-Sun opposition on Aug 24.
