I’m back to help you be patient during the upcoming hot period caused by Pluto squaring the North and South Nodes.
The Lunar Nodes are about karma; repeating the same lessons (South Node) or writing a new story (the North Node). You might even use the metaphor for fate and destiny, where fate is what happens to you and destiny is what you actively work to bring into creation. Well, both your probable and your outcomes are being triggered by Pluto for a few weeks now, but in the following 3 days we have a lot happening in the same time, that creates a perfect storm effect, which might translate into powerful moments of transformation in our lives.
The Lunar Nodes moved to Aries-Libra axis for 18 months and make just one challenging aspect to Pluto in Aquarius. So the good news: after August ’23, there’s less challenging transformation brought about via karma (In case you hoped it ever takes a break, no, it never stops).
So how could this Pluto square the Nodes unfold for us as humanity? First, Pluto in Aquarius is about transforming situation to serve progress, freedom and the good of the group/club/society. A square can be challenging, but can help transform the group for the better if you focus on progress and freedom for everyone, not just yourself. You’ll be triggered to choose between what is good for you (North Node in Aries) or what is good for the close partnership, ‘us’, (South Node in Libra), but really think about making choices that don’t hurt the greater group you’re part of. Pluto interference comes often in the form of a VIP (a boss, client, person of authority), generally pushing your buttons, triggering you to act — in order to transform. Only this time, the Nodes are squared to exact degree, so it’s not something random you’re triggered about. It’s karma from 18.6 years ago to be more precise 🙂 So, what were you doing 18 to 19 years ago? What are you balancing now? It was also a tune along with the theme ‘me’ vs ‘we’, but this time you can sing a different song. Choose wisely, not selfishly. Choosing other than what is in the best interest of all has the potential of Plutonic transformation (some use the word destruction; I prefer to balance my expression because there’s nothing set in stone and you can choose your actions).
What else was about? Oh, only dear Saturn at 5 degrees in Pisces squaring the Moon at 5 degrees in Gemini. Now, Saturn in Pisces is here to help us ground the daydreaming and clean the closet (yes, the closet with skeletons in it, haha). With Saturn in the 12th house of the subconscious AND opposing the 6th house of health, work and daily routine, what it does while squaring the Moon (what we need/ our need for nurturing/ our drive to care for others) in Gemini (the sign of siblings, short distance travel, business, social media and everything Internet related), sounds to me that you must take care not to over-give, not to overcare because you will deplete yourself physically (6th house) or end up with anxiety piling over you (12th house).
Jupiter at 14 degrees in Taurus trines Mercury at 14 degrees in Virgo, BUT with Mercury in retrograde. While any trine from Jupiter is good news anytime, it’s like the Universe sends us a gift; Until September 15, don’t open the champagne yet on any deal you may get because of this harmonious trine as with Mercury retrograde, you do expect to go over many facets of the same situation until the retrograde is over. And like everything in life, some aspects you’ll like and some you will not. Accept them all and deal with them, because that’s what we grownups do. This might be a new client which pays a sizeable fee for you, yet you discover there’s more maintenance involved than you estimated. To make a wise choice during Pluto squares, think about the needs of those you & your client serve, along with your own.
What other factors are having significant aspects at the same time? ‘Only’ Uranus square Venus. Venus is also in retrograde, so yeah, along the general relationship-themed Nodal axis story, there’s also shock & surprise (Uranus) in Taurus (money, valuables, personal values) in challenging opposition to Venus (romantic love and complicated relationships). Let’s say… if your romantic partner shocks you in any way, inhale deeply before responding. Pluto is triggering your relationship karma for a few weeks now and this Uranus — Venus square only lasts a day. Avoid words too harsh that will cause unmendable immediate destruction AND karma that you’ll again have to balance. Plus, Mercury is retrograde these days, so any communication might not be very clear.
